Youth Leadership Program
Youth Leadership Challenge (YLC) is an educational program to promote leadership among young people. This reality TV program is produced in order to encourage youth audience to become more responsible, act responsibly, generate initiatives, and to involve in and improve their community service through working with local authority. 16 candidates, age from 18 to 27 will be selected in countrywide. They can be university students, high school students, young civil servants or unemployed youth.
YLC consists of eight challenges during which two teams of 16 candidates will compete to be the champion. The main prize will be a two weeks study visit to the US. The 16 candidates will be split into two groups to compete each other in given tasks. In every challenge, each team selects a leader. Two candidates of a prepare the two teams for each week challenge, YLC will be organized as 1 day for training, 1 day for preparation and 1 day for activity.
In different activities, the winners will be determined by either a panel or the audience accordingly. Anyway, YLC will have three judges to decide to eliminate two candidates after each challenge. Judges will be advised by two groups of people, assigned by YLC, who will closely watch the teams’ and individuals’performance.
