Advanced Democracy Seminar (ADS)

The Advanced Democracy Seminar (ADS) course is designed to encourage active participation in politics by youth, age 18-23. The ADS curriculum focuses on:-expanding democracy in Cambodia, youth participation in a democracy, and good governance. Throughout the course, trainers help participants identifying methods to engage in the political process by inviting local government officials to speak on issues important to youth and identifying Members of Parliamentary for correspondence or petition.

Through ADS trainings, YCC reaches out over 5,000 young people (30% of them are girls) each year. Outstanding graduates of this program will be encouraged to participate in YCC’s network.
